A Little About Me

I trained in the late 1980’s as a fine artist and have always drawn, painted, sculpted and challenged myself by extending my practice into almost all areas of art and craft.

Glass has mesmerised me wherever I encountered it.

Working from my garden studio, I make everything from seasonal ornaments and suncatchers to large projects. Recently I have restored an Arts & Crafts oak framed window, given new life to reclaimed glass from the Palace Pier in Brighton and used recycled timbers from sea defences to make garden sculptures and memorial art pieces.

Using my studio kiln I form glass vessels, fuse glass pieces and ornaments and use traditional methods used for hundreds of years to paint on glass.

Tributes to lost family members and pets can be comforting to hold and are a privilege to make in stained glass or fused art pieces. I can capture ashes by firing them into glass to preserve them forever.

My aim is to share my passion for glass and introduce light and colour into every day.
